Shipping Wallet & Billing

Iraca buys postage for you and bills you for it in one of two ways. This article explains both, and how to manage your shipping wallet in Shipping → Settings.

Two ways to pay for labels

Your workspace is set up for one of these billing models:

  • Wallet — you prepay for postage. Each label you buy draws down a balance, and you top it up whenever you like (or let it reload automatically).
  • Per-label — there's no balance to manage. Each label is charged straight to your saved card the moment you buy it.

You'll find your shipping wallet on the Shipping → Settings page. What you see there depends on your billing model.

Using the wallet

Your balance

The top of the wallet shows your current balance. Every label you buy is deducted from it, and every top-up is added to it. If your balance can't cover a label, the purchase is blocked until you add funds — so a label you've paid for is always a label you can afford.

Adding funds

Pick one of the preset amounts or type your own (the minimum top-up is $10), then choose Top up. The amount is charged to the card on file for your workspace and added to your balance right away.

Heads up: Top-ups use the same card you manage on the Billing page. If you haven't added one yet, you'll see a prompt to do that first.

Automatic reload

To avoid running dry mid-shift, turn on Automatic reload. Set two numbers:

  • When balance falls below — the point at which a reload kicks in.
  • Reload by — how much to add each time.

When a label purchase drops your balance under the threshold, Iraca charges your card for the reload amount and credits your wallet automatically. If a reload ever fails — say your card expired — the label you were buying still goes through using your existing balance, and we flag the failed reload so you can update your card.

Transaction history

The History tab lists every credit and debit on your wallet — top-ups, automatic reloads, and label charges — newest first, so you can reconcile your postage spend at a glance.

Per-label billing

If your workspace is on per-label billing, there's no balance to top up. Each shipping label is charged directly to your saved card when you buy it, with Iraca's shipping markup already included in the price you see.

All you need is a card on file. Add or update it on the Billing page. If no card is on file, label purchases are blocked until you add one.

Why a label purchase might be blocked

Iraca checks that you can pay before buying postage from the carrier, so you're never left holding an unpaid label. A purchase is blocked when:

  • You're on the wallet model and your balance is too low. Add funds, then try again.
  • You're on per-label billing and there's no card on file. Add a payment method on the Billing page.

In both cases the message tells you exactly what to fix.

Browsing transaction history

The transaction list shows your most recent activity. When there are more transactions than fit on one page, pagination controls appear at the bottom — use First / Previous / Next / Last or type a page number in Go to and press Enter.

This guide covers the Iraca app and its add-ons. The Iraca Marketplace is documented separately.
