How Marketplace Sync Works

Iraca connects to your sales channels and syncs orders on a schedule. Here's what happens during each sync.

Sync frequency

Each channel connection has its own sync frequency, configurable in the channel settings. The default is every 30 minutes.

What gets synced

Orders (inbound)

Iraca pulls new orders from the marketplace and creates them in your order list with status Confirmed. Only orders placed after the last sync are pulled — Iraca won't re-import orders it has already seen.

Each order line is matched to an Iraca product:

  • On Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and Walmart, matching is done by SKU. If a product doesn't exist yet, Iraca creates it automatically and sets up the mapping for future syncs.
  • On Etsy and TikTok Shop, matching is done via your manually configured product mappings. Items without a mapping are skipped.

Inventory levels (outbound)

When a product has an active mapping with inventory sync enabled, Iraca pushes the current stock level back to the marketplace after each change. This keeps your marketplace listings from overselling when stock is updated in Iraca.

What doesn't sync automatically

  • Order status changes — fulfilling or cancelling an order in Iraca does not update the marketplace order status. You'll need to do that in the marketplace directly.
  • Product details — names, prices, and descriptions are not pushed to the marketplace. Iraca manages inventory, not listings.
  • Price sync — price sync is available per mapping but is off by default.

Sync logs

Every sync run is recorded. If a sync fails or skips items, you can review the details in the sync log for that channel connection.

Triggering a manual sync

You can sync at any time by opening the channel connection and clicking Sync now. This pulls any orders placed since the last sync immediately, without waiting for the scheduled interval.

This guide covers the Iraca app and its add-ons. The Iraca Marketplace is documented separately.
